Pished Strawberries
This one is my “most” favourite and I will participate and make at the drop of a hat.....
You will need either a plastic, airtight container or glass bowl.
What you'll need:
I punnet of strawberries (per couple or per person)
Bar or “melting” chocolate
150ml single cream (for chocolate)
King Island Pure Cream
Butterscotch Schnapps.
Method:
Wash (and cut if preffered) strawberries and place them in a container.
Pour Butterscotch Schnapps over until the strawberries are covered. (Leave in fridge for 24/48 hours, and shake (not too hard) a couple of times).
On the day:
Melt chocolate in saucepan or glass bowl over boiling water (just on the boil). Don’t cook to quickly as chocolate may clog.
Blend in cream once All the chocolate is smooth.
(turn down heat if necessary).
If you are lucky enough to have a chocolate fountain then place the chocolate in the fountain - if not then a warming dish with water that will fit the bowl with the chocolate in, comfortably (and safely).
Drain the Strawberries and place them in a serving dish.
Pure Cream (place some cream in individual bowls for your guests if preferred).
SERVING:
Provide guests with a bowl and dessert fork ( fondue fork is also useful - but be careful they can be sharp).
“Stab a strawberry, dip it in the chocolate and then into the cream”! YUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM
Serves: ??
